CRM and CRS

Customer Relationship Management is a very different thing from a Customer Relationship Strategy. CRM focuses on the relationship between employees and the customers. It measures how they interact and which leads are turning into sales, etc. CRS goes a step further and adds customer intelligence. This means the system compiles the data about the customers for the customer service department to use. Tyler Lacoma, an eHow contributor, describes the differences between them in further detail.
